Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Where do I park after we unload?

After check-in and unloading, there will be staff and signage directing you where to go for long-term parking.  Additionally, you can view the campus map at map.iupui.edu, it will show you where to proceed to park.

Please note:  If you are living in Ball Hall or Riverwalk Townhomes and apartments, you will not be able to use the CH parking spaces until after 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19.  Until this time, you will need to park in the long-term parking assigned to your facility.

  • Why do I need my CrimsonCard/JagTag?

This is the identification needed to verify who you are and that you are a student.  In addition, they are needed to get into your residence hall and, for some, your room.

North Hall Residents - Please note:  If you have not updated your student id to a CrimsonCard, your JagTag MUST have a blue HID on the back bottom left.  This is because North Hall uses a prox reader and that HID indicates that it is a prox card.

  • Do I need to bring any tools?

Tools are available at the Community Desk to adjust the bed heights.

  • Can I bring multiple cars?

Students may bring as many cars as necessary.  Please just be prepared to have a licensed driver remain with each vehicle.
